...periodically asks herself if her students are learning anything?
...sometimes wonders if she understands the material enough to teach it effectively?
...questions if her essay grading is really fair and not some arbitrary mark on a paper?
...takes forever grading things and never seems to catch up?
...feels as though her lesson plans are stale?
Please tell me I'm not the only one!
(Can you tell I've had a rough teaching day?)

You are not alone! I've been there. And essay grading is the worst.
YES YES YES YES
Hi Amy,
I think your blog is great. My sister is a teacher in Woodland, CA and so many of your posts seem echoes of what she relates to me concerning her life and work. I am a volunteer Outreach Coordinator for a new endeavor called The Teacher Salary Project. It is a full-length documentary based upon the book, "Teachers Have It Easy" by Dave Eggers, Daniel Moulthrop, and NÃnive Calegari. I feel it is something you might be interested in (if you haven't already heard of it). Currently, we are in the stage of gathering as much support as possible, so please feel free to check out our website and let others know who you think may also be interested. I thank you for all that you do and I look forward to reading your future posts!
Take care,
Devin Triplett
