Um...

Sometimes I consider pulling the plug on this blog and putting it out of its misery.

But then I look back over old blog posts (from 2006, y'all!), and I just can't do it. I love this little chronicle of our lives, even during times when my posting is extremely sporadic.

If you know me "in real life," you know we are in the midst of craziness right now. From mid-October through Thanksgiving, things feel busier here than they do at Christmas. There's Darryl's birthday, Halloween, my birthday, essays to be graded, and Amelia's 5th (!!!) birthday coming up Monday...and then her party the following Sunday. My parents are coming in that week for birthday fun and then Thanksgiving.

I think while they are here, I might take a power nap.

The good thing is, when I do get a chance to blog--and I hope that happens after I get these last 40 or so essays graded (they are neverending)--I have plenty to blog about. :-)
